Machiko Shinozuka is a researcher in Computer and Data Science Laboratories in NTT, Inc. She is engaged in the research and development of green software engineering. Her interest is calculating and reducing CO2 emissions in software, FinOps and cloud cost optimization. With a background in environmental impact assessment (Life Cycle Assessment), she is dedicated to integrating sustainability into cloud operations and minimizing the environmental footprint of digital technologies.
